Ultrasonic Inspection is a very useful and versatile NDT method which uses high frequency sound energy to conduct examinations and make measurements. Ultrasonic inspection can be used for flaw detection/evaluation, dimensional measurements, material characterization, and more.
This Ultrasonics Level 2 course prepares you with in-depth knowledge in the principles of ultrasonic testing, and a sound (hah!) working knowledge of procedures. You'll learn to become proficient in the techniques to inspection situations and in analysing ultrasonic information to make preliminary conclusions.
The course is provided in accordance with ISO 9712 and AINDT requirements. Successful completion of the course is a requirement for certification with AINDT or other ISO 9712 certifying body.
