Eddy current inspection is one of several NDT methods that use the principal of “electromagnetism” as the basis for conducting examinations. One of the major advantages of eddy current as an NDT tool is the variety of inspections and measurements that can be performed. Eddy current tests are performed on critical component or structural zones and may require re-assessment of competency at regular intervals in accordance with Australian standards and/or other relevant standards.
This Eddy Current Level 2 course prepares you to for the inspection, interpretation, classification and reporting of results of eddy current testing on fabrications, structures and components across a wide range of industries.
The course is provided in accordance with ISO 9712 and AINDT requirements. Successful completion of the course is a requirement for certification with AINDT or other ISO 9712 certifying body.
